Converting wooden stables to accommodation?

We have 4 wooden stables which we are considering converting to accommodation ,for either students at RAU Cirencester (as not far away), Airbnb or a long term let. I would very much like to know if any TFF members have successfully converted wooden stables for Airbnb/ holiday lets or long term let,the stables are close to our cottage , so not too much of a job to get water and sewerage connected . Any positive or negative suggestions on your experience of converting stables will be much appreciated ,BEFORE, we get involved with architects fees and planning application process/fees . Thankyou all
