Coping with injury

I hurt my knee week before last, I’ve been for sports therapy massage, been using compression sleeve, voltarol, ice and even micro current stimulators. I’ve rested it and eased back into running this week, just done a 14 mile run and I can feel it! no fast running. Do people have any things they swear by when they get injured?

why on earth did you go do a 14 mile run.....get some sheep....by the time you've finished all you'll want to do is lay on the sofa

Lol you do grow to love it honest! I was miserable not being able to do long run last week!

Docs were telling me to stay away from running as impact isn't good
