Had to Google them, but yes they're the same Chinese clippers rebranded as Horner, Masterclip, Welsh Shearing, George Mudge etc etc... they've all got websites, give one a phone and they should can supply a new battery 👍

Apologies for thread hijack, but anyone used both these type and the type with battery on a belt? Is the belt type worth the extra and really as good as mains clipper as claimed?
Neighbour has one as in the op and I was distinctly underwhelmed.

I have given up on the Horner one with the battery attached on the belt. I have owned it for years, but i was constantly having to return it for repair. So now it’s the proper lister machine set up, or the mighty Jakoti hand shears !

Have you tried the cordless ones? I swore by Jakotis until I got a set of cordless. Not as good as the proper machine but a lot faster for dagging than any hand shears no matter how dirty they are.

Do all the dirty ones now rather than just the dirtiest lol but don't tell the shearers!

All look fairly similar but I can vouch for the Welsh Shearing ones being significantly better than the Razor (and Masterclip/Mudge look similar). We had the Razor for probably 2 years before it stopped working at which point we got the Welsh.

The main improvements are that the battery retaining clip is more robust being metal and the motor itself seems to run smoother/cooler on the Welsh. Just our experience 👍🏻
