Get one of these, fantastic bit of kit, my carpenter was impressed with it and he had a makita!!

I'd like to say I'm impressed with mine but I'm not!

Something up with the trigger as it sometimes catches the forward reverse lever which locks it a bit like for example when the f/r switch is in a midway position you cant press the trigger mine seems to catch it when in forwards which is quite annoying!

That will be a warranty claim fix I hope but also I went to use the torque setting for some odd screws the other day and it's useless! No longer is it like a ratchet thing that kicks off at what ever setting it's on it's some kind of electronic speed and torque limiter but not a very good one! It stalls motor out then after a split second or so the tool shuts down🤷‍♂️ very odd luckly I dont do screws much as I wouldnt get on with it at all!

You do surprise me, I had an Hitachi before the one i have now and the milwaukee beets it every time, it was drilling long screws into hardwood no trouble at all, I do think the de walt is as good and would have one without hesitation.

Mines the same, can live with it tho because it’s good and powerful, mostly drilling 20mm auger through 180mm+ strainers, best I’ve used so far.

its only them 2 issues i have, one of which should be fixed on warranty i hope the other i will live with as screws are not really a big part of my job, it'll drill holes in anything just fine and snap your wrist off in the process if your not paying attention:ROFLMAO:

I had no luck with a dewalt the Chuck was useless should have been elc made. Got a Milwaukee now but I certainly wouldn’t recommend it over a cheaper makita

What I’m looking for a cordless drill I’m not sure the feature “it’ll break your wrist” is one that would attract me if I saw it on the list!
Trust me if you dont use the the insanely long handle and it grabs ,,you wont have time to let go of it ,,it will either dislocate your thumb or at worst ,crack your wrist ,,its got ridiculous amount of torque

It’s not a drill to drill RSJs one handed half way up a ladder that’s for sure.....
