Cordless impact gun

Each to their own, I like the makita stuff, it's done me proud, I think it's good value for money and I'm not changing anytime soon.

Not discounted Makita from the options thinking i need to go somewhere and have alook at them the compact one looks good but unsure if it carries enough punch.

As for Snap On nope never our local rep is a muppet and wriggles out of anything he can, a friend has Snap On everything including drills amd impact guns and they are years behind other grands mentioned here.

Well if it hasn't got a lifetime guarantee its not worth looking at because i'll bet its at least 50% dearer than Milwaulkee or Makita. My father brought a milwaulkee cordless drill and that is very good but about £400.

You've got to look at the little gun as a go to gun for lighter jobs, don't get me wrong, the one I've got will undo wheel nuts on the pickup s ect, but is probably not as powerful as a 1/2 air gun. But if you've also got the bigger gun for when you need real punch then IMO you've got the best of both worlds. The little one is great for one handed operation laying under a machine for example, the big gun would harder work in situations where the power is not needed.

You'd be welcome to come and have a look & go of the guns I've got, but no idea where you are located?

Got lots of Milwaukee stuff now and love it, I got the older brushed 1/2 impact first a while ago now that fine, also got the same one as your link but with the 3/4" drive which is fantastic old 1/2 one hardly getting used now.

I have had a 3/4" drive Milwaukee for over a year now, very very pleased with it. First job was to remove twin wheels from low loader plant trailer, had not been off for long time, it took first three pairs off easy. Tried last pair with wrecking bar, had to put scaffold pole on to shift first nut, so went back to Milwaukee, it took the rest off no trouble.
I went for 3/4" model because same size as 1/2" just a little heavier and with the two power settings, I use a 3/4" to 1/2" adapter at lower power for smaller stuff.

im not gone on the milf**kye gear, got let down the firs time on a 1 mth old drill and it was enough for me the way it was handled tbh.
altho looking at that milwakee gun its not half bad if it dose what it says on the tin.
i know Cp were on about a new gun soon but im not sure if its the one on their site now, its 20v but with a 4Ah battery, and the same torques as the milwakee so no gain there.

the only one that comes close to it if maybe a bit better would be the IRw7150-k2 but it wouldnt be as easy got as the milwakee.
both guns have pros and cons but they seem to be much of a muchness in spec.

Had warranty claim on my angle grinder and couldn't have been easier, phoned the people I bought it off they said no problem call this number who are authorised repairers, gave them the serial number they looked it up knew all my details as its registered online for the full 3 years warranty they sent a courier next day to collect within 7 days it was returned fixed no hassle at all. Couldn't fault it TBH so far my first and only issue although I think I need a new trigger on my old impact gun but that must be coming up for 4 years old now? still works but bit iffy at certain points within the triggers range.

When I did my research on 3/4" drive most of the reviews were from across the pond and I R had electrical trigger problems, but in tests shown on YouTube ( if correct ) was very similar to the Milwaukee on performance. That was over a year ago now and other makes may have over taken since.

I love my millwaukee stuff got the drill, 1/2inch impact and a grease gun if the millwaukee impact won't undo something you need a 6ft scaffold tube and bar to shift it

Would you mind sending me the number of the repairers if you still have it as my impact wrench died the other day. Thanks
