Went and had it only Two people in there no que as I was driving there they were talking about it on radio saying people couldn’t get tests
Which centre?
My Wife and daughter got tested yesterday in Carmarthen as my daughter had the back to school cough etc but school won’t allow your child in school with any symptoms so they went for a test, took 4 hours on the phone yesterday morning and when she got through to a Scottish woman in the call centre she said that the last 3 callers were all from Pembrokeshire too o_O

saw 8/9 other cars in the test centre and only 1 tent was being driven through, 5 tents were available mind.
Tested 15.30 yesterday and had results 20.10 tonight. Both negative (y)

My herdsman is off with feverish symptons, but has been trying for two days and can't get a test. Has anyone paid to have one privately? This is ridiculous.

They should have key worker only slots, a friend who works in the hospital had to wait a few days before she could get tested plus the whole department she was in contact with - this was a while ago mind

Well Mr Hancock I am sure I heard on the radio say the UK was world beating with 300,000 test capacity a day - you must have been number 300,001. Tory spin?

Apparently no slots for key workers ...so he is off until he gets better or dies? But he may not even have it!

And the chances are he doesn't have it. That is the game we are now playing. Going to be private sector that needs to get on versus state sector who can go on sick leave fully agreed by their government employers. Problems ahead I fear.

Yesterday seemed well under utilised I was in there for less than 2 min.

For those that haven't had one this us what happens.

Walk up asked if I had an appointment said yes. Hand sanitizer then shown to a window and get given bag of things.

In bag is a tissue to blow your knows before you start you then open cotton bud wipe tonsils for 10 sec then up each nostril for 10 sec. You then open a little vial with a substance in snap bud so it fits put lid on and then all into a separate bag. Sombody then scans bag and your booking.

You then place it in a box hand sanitizer again and done

Yes he probably doesn't have it as he has been nowhere. But can many of our businesses cope with many staff being forced to stay at home like this indefinitely?
