Corteva Agriscience Inatreq⢠Active Approved in UK 31 March 2021: Corteva Agriscience announced today that the UK has approved the registration of a product with Inatreq™ active. Univoq™ fungicide with Inatreq active, now approved for sale and use in the UK, is a new fungicide that offers exceptional curative and protectant control on all Septoria strains, supporting a long-term sustainable fungicide strategy on farms. As the first new target site for Septoria control registered in the UK for 15 years, its patented i-Q4™ formulation empowers Univoq fungicide to stick to and spread across the leaf. The product will be available for sale in the UK in time for wheat T2 applications. Inatreq active is already approved for use in cereals in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, the Republic of Ireland and Greece, with the registration process continuing across Europe and in other key cereal growing areas. Inatreq active offers outstanding biology performance, and its novel target site for Septoria gives farmers a new tool to help manage the disease, as it shows no cross-resistance to existing cereal fungicide chemistries. Farmers also will benefit from its flexible application characteristics and consistent, broad-spectrum performance. Corteva Agriscience Cereal Fungicides Category Marketing Manager, UK, Michael Ashworth said: “The major strength of Univoq fungicide is its robust control of Septoria – the number one disease threat and yield robber on UK arable farms. “The introduction of Univoq fungicide to the UK is a major milestone for cereal growers who need innovative new chemistry to protect their crops while meeting the challenges of sustainable management and responding to farmers’ desire for innovation.
