Complete pig novice here, considering getting a couple of weanlings to rear and put in the freezer. What sort of breeds are best? How much is it likely to cost to get to killing? How much is killing and cutting up etc and what feeds best etc etc, just toying with the idea at the moment but any tips/advice would be appreciated!

Just had 2 large blacks butchered cost £250 for the pair slaughter, butchered into joints, chops, sausages and burgers fed them bruised barley and handful of pig nuts bought at 7 weeks and off at 5 and a half months killed at 130 kg deadweight. Taste lovely first time having them but enjoyed having them about and will do it again. Old plastic oil tank for shelter and two strands of electric to keep them in plenty to forage at and they are happy piggies.
