Baler will do, what, 30k bales in a lifetime? Maybe a few more but not double. Let’s say 50p a bale in depreciation/ wear. That’s another £22.50/hr taken care of.
Modern balers good for double that with auto lube and chain oilers, plenty of fusions running up to 100k in Ireland. A few years ago you would have a point though.

I know they get a bad press on here but thats other folks balers not mine.
The one we had that we wouldn't dare run out of warranty was a MF/Vicon and it was that bad, perhaps some got on ok with them though who knows
First one we had was a 46 which never had a problem in sixteen years,now a 354 which had a roller fail but other than that perfect. Dodged a bullet by missing a 250 by all accounts
