I'M NOT A FARMER. I WAS LOOKING FOR A PRICE FOR AN OVERWINTERING SHED FOR APPROX. 200 CATTLE. EITHER NEW OR EXISTING THAT COULD BE DISMANTLED AND SHIPPED AND REBUILT.
ANY HELP/IDEAS/ HAVE YOU GOT ONE? THANKS.

Only thing I would say is buy a new one. To me second hand works out as expensive as new by the time you’ve took it down, repainted and got any new roof sheets etc etc.
At least with new you get just what you want and it’s done !.

What sort of cattle? How old are they?

The other thing I'd say is how are you going to be feeding/ bedding them? I'd go with feeding around the perimeter and leaving a good overhang to keep the feed fairly dry.

Where about are you in country ?

Depends a bit on where you are in the country, and the age of the cattle going in, I'd say you'd be around the £200k mark by the time it was fitted out and ready.

Sorry to hijack this thread. I’m looking at putting up a general purpose agriculture shed. Can any one recommend someone to draw up my plans and submit them for planning. I need to go for full plans as I am below the acreage to go for a 28 day notice. I’m based in north Devon.

I think South West Steel can put everything together for you, I've linked them above. They are based in Holsworthy too, so easy enough for you to get to I'd imagine.

They are a good bunch, and we found them to be on the better end of the spectrum for price too.
