Cost of tank as part of a suckler shed?

How much of the total cost of a shed is taken up by the building, and by that I mean shuttering, of a slatted tank? I've been told that proportionately it's far more expensive than the costs of the frame, cladding and internal pens, and that once you get to the bits above ground it seems not as painfully expensive. I'd be interested to hear what others experiences have been.

I'm pretty sure round here the cost of a slatted shed is around £12-1300 a foot. That would be for a suspended passage and a row of slats either side, concrete would be cheaper with you though.

Done a slatted shed at home few yrs back and the reinforcing steel for the tank cost the same money as the structural steel for the shed albeit i still had to cut and weld the steel in to the pieces for the shed . Roofing the shed aint cheap between timbers and sheeting either mind .

I worked a 120x50 shed was roughly 20k for the building about 12k found errection etc and I thought the tank slats etc would come to 50k but I reckoned 100 sucklers would used 10k straw per year (never factored being able to put more in a slatted shed)

lot of money but return on investement?
