Coughing cattle

I've a batch of incalf heifers who have been coughing a dry cough on exercising. I thought it was worms but they've Been dosed for lung worm with pour on 2 weeks ago and the coughing hasn't gone away. There isn't any discharge from the noses or eyes just occasional green phlegm comes up. They're 6 months in calf and appear in great condition - coats are sleek and body condition good. Out on grass. Any ideas?

I've got some store cattle 14-18 months at grass. They cough a bit the last couple weeks. Grass is virgin cattle ground. I did a FEC and strongyles are getting near borderline but lab said no lung worm larvae. Going to worm them before the months out for peace of mind but I think it's the weather. Humid and wet/dry with only occasional wind to clear the air. Not the best for living outside.

Depends how much damage has been done to the lungs

dosing with pour on is a bit of a lottery ,[ for lung worm] sometimes you have to repeat it. You need to get it right on the bit with no hair if your not clipping and you need it to be dry for a good day though it says less
