Could a lorry be an Agriculutral vehicle?

On the look out for a water bowser and or a slurry tanker…… can buy a sensible looking rigid lorry for sub 10k which is competitive with the above.
Any idea if it can be reclassified? Wouldn’t be going more than 5 miles from base. Don’t fancy the cost of inspections and Trainning if it can be helped

Thinking about it if it was 4x4 you’d stand a better chance of getting classes as agri

we can quote for a bowser tank if required to go onto a flat bed trailer

If it’s only going to be water I’d consider sliding a tank into a tipping trailer. A lorry is better fir the road but once your in a field your either making a pile of ruts and compaction or going home from fear of getting stuck. Then put the money you’ve saved towards your next tractor with a 50kmh box. We run lorries fir moving grain off the fields, it’s quicker in dry weather but if the fields are soft it’s not much use. Then a chaser wagon has to move it all to the roadside.

There's a ford cargo tractor unit near here with a tractor hitch aswell as the fifth wheel coupling and back wheels from ( I think ) a fastrack. That's officially a tractor but he looks like he's doing more than 40 mph
