Could kick myself (moddus cock up)

No only if I was contract spraying.
Strange isn't it? I have the same policy. I'm insured if I cock up whilst contracting but if I accidentally knacker my own crops I get zilch. I wonder if it's because the unscrupulous farmers would be claiming all the time on their poor crops that were going to produce record yields and had been sprayed with roundup by mistake.
I left a bit of starane in the tank and sprayed a client's beans this time last year . They were struggling in the drought and I was meant to be applying some foliar feed to try and perk them up.Wasn't till I went back a week later and saw them starting to curl up that I realised my mistake.
The dose would have been tiny but they were under stress anyway and it was the final nail. I had a few sleepless nights I can tell you until I had confirmation from NFU that they would pay up. They paid up based on previous yields and average prices. I reckon it was the most profitable crop my client has grown, no more sprays or harvest costs and even if I hadn't cocked up the beans were never going to get a decent yield.

Had a really busy day today, and made my first ever spray cock up,

Was putting some Magphos and amino on my wheat today, and after talking with agronomist a few weeks ago I said send out some teb for the gleam and a bit of moddus or equivalent for a couple of really forward fields.

Anyway decided to leave the PGR ou and just put 0.5 lts of teb a d the Magphosk and amino on,

Little did I know that the moddus was actually tribune in a 5 lt can with a label just like rubric.

So I sprayed one 12.5 ha field with 0.4 lts ha of tribune (MODDUS)

just whag it needed in this drought, why they put it in. 5lt can I do not know always been in 1 lt bottles before.

My fault and really pee'd off with myself
But like my son said, well at least no one died.
How's this looking now @willy

I have applied 10x in the past (decimal point was in the wrong place). Fortunately, the crop developed into a very tall barley crop, so the high dose probably helped. In the end it was about a foot shorter. No problems

I knew it would be OK.
I advised all my growers to wait until the crops were less stressed and in hindsight those that didn't wait got away with it.
However, last year it didn't rain around here until 16th June and if the same had happened this year, the crops would have been buggered.
Two things you should always remember in this game...
1. Game cover - there'll always be more of it next year
2. Don't worry about things ('really important, this)
