Could univoq cause yellow flag leaves?

Sprayed my wheat on 28th may, two fields got just univoq at 1.25L/ha and the rest got 1L/ha univoq and 0.1 talius. Not long after they were sprayed I noticed that where there was any spray overlap the flag leave went a bit yellow and it's never recovered. Just got worse and the the whole field is affected but still much worse where there are any overlaps. The two fields that got the higher rate of univoq are much worse. Any thoughts?

I think you've answered your own question.

any overlap did show up in some of my wheats but by far the worse affected variety was Elicit
Nothing on Extase or Skyfall & only a tiny amount on some Saki
Elicit is off my list for next year ive had issues with it 3 years in a row now
Extase & Saki fantastic here.
Got sum Dawsum for 23

I'm going to go and check. What I thought was takeall seems pretty much confined to the bit on each spray run where I've not turned the nozzles off quick enough and the boom has slowed as I turned.

Yes, I’ve got it too, 2 weeks ago I thought the overlaps would have been dead by now but they are actually holding on quite well despite being very yellow ever since t2.

didn’t see any of it with univoq last yr but we are dryer than we were then

Looks like i'm not the only one then. Definitely not drought related, we've had plenty of moisture up here in Cumbria. Variety is Gleam.

I think the overlap damage indicates chem damage. However I wonder if the yellowing is partially a manifestation of yellow rust. Univoq isn’t really a rust product and Talius probably does provide some protection against that disease. I think I can see some rust shaped lesions in the foreground of your photo. We find gleam quite susceptible to YR. Sometimes it tips yellow after spraying. We don’t see it late in the season though since we it’s not favoured by dry weather and we always use teb or strobe to specifically control it. I don’t think it will effect the yield too badly it looks a good piece of wheat!

Was it windy when applying? Been windy the last 6-8 weeks here with few windows. Fair bit of tipping in our area depending on how keen the operator was.

Made a note to myself last year........`never use Univoq again.`
That’s interesting care to share your experience?
Ha, very true. The univoq tipped dawsum, Costello and extase aswell.
In fairness all our wheat is showing tipping I associate with systemic fungicides and we didn’t use Univoq. Nothing like as severe as the yellowing in the OP’s photo though. Do you think you will continue with gleam for this autumn? I thought maybe not on our bit.
