Hello,
I am hoping that you might be able to help with with diagnosing what might be wrong with the transmission on my 2018 Countax B60-4WD mower. I am experiencing a loss of power that gets worse as the system gets up to normal operating temperature. I have noticed that this is only really affecting forward motion. If I try to approach an incline, the mower struggles, however, I can reverse up any incline without any impact on performance. I have checked oil levels and I have checked the neutral position. I have also inspected the oil and it is in good condition. I am assuming that if I had air in the system, I would not get the performance that I currently do in reverse. I am concerned that while the obvious thing appears to be to purchase a repair kit and replace the motor and pump, I can’t help but think that these elements must be in good condition to get the performance in reverse. Are you able to confirm my thought processes and advise on the best course of action?
Many thanks,
David
