The company is registered in Dublin with a rent a mail box address in Knightsbridge and have no examples of any conservation projects they have carried out. Just a very basic website with a few library pictures.

Company search would probably show that the Directors a Mr E Mann and A Badger.
The entire set up stinks. A Company search states one shareholder..... “Country Land Conservation Limited was set up on Thursday the 9th of February 2017. Their current partial address is Dublin 7, and the company status is Normal. The company's current director has been the director of 18 other Irish companies; 8 of which are now closed. Country Land Conservation Limited has 1 shareholder”
CLC website On the other hand implies there’s a few...“Country Land Conservation was formed by a number of landowners who also have their very own stake-holds in the English Countryside. These philanthropic individuals have kindly pulled together an extensive sum of money in order for us to acquire and manage our own conservation sites. By choice, these individuals are not listed and their confidentiality is an important factor for this company.”

We have had letters from this crowd several times, despite returning to sender with the explanation that the the recipient, my father, has been dead for over 20 years more have come, so I just ignore them. Obviously a catch in it somewhere, you can just tell by looking.

CLC recently bought some greenbelt land from a farmer near me, under the cover of "conservation". They parceled it up into plots to sell off for building.
The Local council was quick to slap an injuction on them as soon as they were aware, but, I wonder how many times they got away with it.
They have done zero conservation to date.

They profit from buying from farmers who want to protect the land and sell it off in plots for building

The Times Article re Country Land Conservation. They buy agricultural land, dividend it into half acre plots and sell them for a minimum of £35,000 each, either through an agent called Exclusive Property Sales or at auction via Barnard Marcus. Since the various recent press articles publicly named them they have taken down their website where they attempt to mislead (swindle) potential buyers/sellers that they are interested in preserving the English countryside!

This is the action Sevenoaks Council, Kent, has been forced to take as a result of Country Land Conservation buying 3 separate pieces of agricultural land in the borough in the last 6 months alone.
