different places , different views . I had a pal went to Switzerland and landed up on a small farm . The front field was an absolute wilderness- creeping buttercup, docks, the lot , he said . On asking would he top it or spray it or whatever , the farmer replied with bits of German , English , and sign language , that no, it was his very best field , and that what was there wasn't weed - no,- it was "Herb " and to be nurtured .

Id stick a purple note on that they will just get worse if not sprayed off or dug up.

I thought it was great not having someone like John Craven or his mates telling us how bad farming was for something or other in the world!

Our wildlife trust friends tell us that docks are jolly nice being full of P,K,and Mg and reduce bloat in cattle, if only they would eat them .
