made me feel slightly better about our rubbish crops this year at least
Yes terrible, didn’t make me feel better though.

the ones i have encountered charge their own mothers by the hour for visiting grandchildrenI can’t imagine any land agents I know that would be willing to work on a voluntary basis.
I've never had my local class dealer ring me up to say I've got a problem arising on my combine........mind you, it is 20 yrs old :-/
cant belive barley can be grown up there. me and mrs thorpe were up there couple of years ago visiting her sister who lives there , anybody who lives there must love torture never mind farm there. Our man in Lewis deserves every penny for his whisky. As much grass as barley, 1 ton per acre, looked like he was cutting it high then someone was following up with a mower. No GPS or fancy stuff on that combine and weather that makes climate change look like a blip
Hensons bit on OSR was very good .
I only thought the piece about the rape and spray was good . To be honest if i was one of his workers I would have been embarrassed to have to appear on countryfile and be given a bottle of ale and a sarnie to say Thankyou for the hard work.Adams harvest piece was brilliant, a real sense of the true reality of being a modern farmer. Riding about organising everyone and watching harvest get done. The public must be in awe at the professionalism of farmers these days.
I'm beginning to wonder what I'm playing about at.
perhaps they were paid as wellI only thought the piece about the rape and spray was good . To be honest if i was one of his workers I would have been embarrassed to have to appear on countryfile and be given a bottle of ale and a sarnie to say Thankyou for the hard work.
