Ok, a tongue in cheek reply, @Cowabunga has a theory on how the masses will be fed in the future bypassing the need for land, I used to think he was nuts but with the passing of time I become less sure.☹
They might be fed without using land but I doubt they will stop producing sewage sludge which needs disposing of..!!!

On a more serious note and it’s beyond my knowledge really but I believe they could extract the water, dry it and incinerate it.

Most probably spreading on land is a cheaper option and any nasties in it aside, is almost certainly the best option
