These caged mink for fur is absolutely disgraceful
During the war my father was approched to produce fox fur, much of which was used for flying suits etc. He said that he was recommended to build a compound to keep the foxes in, and skin them and chuck the carcase back in to feed the rest.
Happily he couldn't stomach it, so never went ahead, but at least the fur was used for national defence, not just a bobble on a hat.

They’re saying real fur is better than faux fur as it doesn’t release micro plastics when washed....here’s an idea, don’t wear any form of fur
