the lamb wasnt quite right
wasnt just the lamb.
so what was the vet bill and the chances of the lamb sale price covering that.
That was my first thoughts but then again the young shepherd is on a learning curve, he should be able to spot these symptoms himself next time.

I wonder how many on here have seen the stretched out head/neck/forelegs?

Oh heck, pom pom problems....
Hmmmm PomPomGate.... the pom pom hat as tested this week didn't look the same colour as the one that the viewer dobbed the presenter in for (allegedly)
Not suprised then that the BBC presenter's hat 'passed' as faux while the other poor sop's hat 'failed'
Squeaky clean - apart from it being 'plastic' - and that's another whole issue....

Just knitting some Y-fronts from an old sheepskin rug. Pass me another squirrel (grey of course). Got to go, my mussels are ready - phew...a bit salty

Roll on Call the Midwife - at least I can doze off in peace then

The first feature on TV that I have seen that counteracts DEFRA policy to concentrate slaughtering. Many years ago it was some bright spark civil servant said that the country should be served by just 12 slaughterhouses, ignoring travelling distances, welfare and food miles.
The risk to public health from the slaughtering process is overplayed provided meat inspection is in place and basic hygiene rules obeyed because the product is destined to be cooked which will deal with any food poisoning bacteria. The product from a small slaughterhouse will be produced to a higher standard that that from bigger establishements with super fast line speeds in my experience.
Well done Countryfile and Tom Heap. There, I said it!
