One of the few countryfiles i have ever watched.Always try to get there every summer with the kids and get in the sea.Would have loved to have bowled a few overs and batted on that pitch when i was younger.I reckon he is right,the best cricket pitch in the entire country.

I've played there a few times, stunning pitch tho at times the local team didn't really "get" the idea of friendly village Sunday cricket ! A few Durham academy players and once a UAE international ! Tho that had more to do with the chap in charge at the time rather than the club ! I think it's the only time I've had a lot of spectators watching me play !

To be fair, If I was Henson, I would probably do some of the show driving around offroad in a Kleeman GL Mercedes with 22 inches worth of chrome and spinners on it just to see how big a £*$*-storm I could whip on twitter. Probably do a segment of me loading the precious ponies in the cow box and then a second sequence of the vehicle being launch controlled with the trailer behind and going about 100mph from a standstill... that should get the animals rights folks fired up.
