Is the first one on that back road to kemnay? Was it a co op farm?
Yes both of them are. We tried to buy the smaller one cairnfold a few years ago.

Kirkwood homes owned it before.

Be a builder or oilman that buys it.

A dairy farmer from Cheshire meant to own it all just now. Don't know how true this is though.

U going to have another go at it? Nices farm nice area

If you take the smallest one 477 acres 2.5m. Pay interest only at 5% that's 125k per year.£262 per acre. I'm going to stop there!
Yes but if you have one to sell elsewhere etc etc.
In Cumbria any good farm will be marketed at 10k per acre no matter what but it is difficult to know what they are really worth as the last 10 or a dozen have been vought by one man.
The ones he doesn't want seem more difficult to move.

We don't own any land so nothing to sell. I'm greedy it would be a add on.

I feel your pain, us farmers can't help looking and thinking less we get no where.
Land values are a funny one ATM, profitability generally good but if all this sub disappears then that reduces cash in flow considerably, weak pound , interest rates?
Not easy to tell.
