My husband David and I (Emily) are looking for a peaceful farm cottage to rent near Fairburn, England. We are a quiet, responsible couple in our mid-50s who would love to find a tranquil place to settle and enjoy the countryside.
A bit about us:

• Emily: Creative administrative professional working from home, originally from Fort Wayne, Indiana (Midwest, USA), with some farming knowledge and a love for rural life. Also a proficient baker and former neighborhood watch member in both the States and currently in the UK.
• David: A subsidence monitoring surveyor who travels throughout the north of England.
• Lifestyle: Non-smokers, do not drink alcohol, and love living quietly and respectfully.

We also have two friendly, well-behaved dogs, Stirling (Australian Shepherd) and Thistle (Border Collie), both 7 years old. They are well-trained and accustomed to rural settings; we always pick up after them and keep the grounds tidy. You can even see their adventures online at @2Politepups!
