Courier for large pallet

I need to move a Kongskilde sucker blower from the south coast to Cumbria. Trouble is its approx 2 foot bigger in each dimension than a pallet, so presumably cant use a pallet firm. What's the best way to go about this,

If it's less than 1.2 ton and you can strap it on a pallet they will take it but they will charge more.
It will be cheaper than any other way so give it a go.

Had an 8ft diameter bundled diesel tank delivered 4 years ago that came on a 4x3 pallet and it was impossible to fork of truck.i mentioned to driver about it and he said company only charged for pallet size and not load on pallet.seemed ridiculous to me.

Have a peek in the back of a Palletways or Palletlines etc truck and you pretty quickly realise they will take almost anything. Fits on a pallet is a loose term!
