What is the best way to establish cover crop behind WOSR for winter livestock forage?
Drill straight after harvest?
Wait for volunteer rape, spray, drill?
Drill into volunteer rape?

Last year I drilled straight after harvest. All I had available was a combi still so just tickled the surface really lightly with the ph and seed was just under the surface. Was a oats peas and Phacelia mix and fed it to sucklers.
They loved the rape volunteers.
