Cover crop seed rates

In the past I've generally broadcast rye and or oats at 100 to 150 kg/ha then cultivating it in. If I'm putting in expensive seed I'll drill, such as radish etc.
This year I've got a pallet of vetch so what sort of seed rate would be worth using if mixing with the cereals, also would I get away with broadcasting it and working it in?

What are you trying to achieve?

Maximum biomass, soak up leftover nutrients, just enough to have some roots/life in the soil, etc?

after tulips in front of barley 20/30 kg oats and a few kg or rape
if leaving stubble over winter drive combine a bit harder and leave weeds and volunteers . but
before beet usually do 10 kg oil radish ..and
in front of salad spuds , stubble turnips for sheep as they stay till mid april .

Do you drill the radish or get away with tickling it in?
have a seeder on knight 700 press so 2 rows discs and 6 legs double packer have seeder on back 12 outlets drops it in last row of rings then pull a coil on bridge link to roll it in
when get front hopper will have tower on knight and pipes so can blow other stuff in to rings too
will find pic later

on irrigation costing £21 an acre on electric now

I seeded oats here as a cover as i had seed left. Also added in some soybeans too. Half normal seed rate at a warmer time of year has given a crop that’s too thick. Have 180 acres of Sudan grass too that was expensive so that went in at 10lbs an acre. Griw very quick and in three weeks it’s a foot tall. Vetches are hard to kill with round up so weed control option I’m told.
