Coverage logging - Fendt Vario guide

Hi all, I’ve just had to put our Bunnings Lowlander onto our Fendt 1050 after the JD it usually sits on got nicked for another job.
the terrain I’m spreading in fairly wild so we aren’t using auto steer. Is there a way to turn on coverage logging when the PTO engaged and then turn it off when the PTO is disengaged?
I know you can manually turn the logging off and on in the vario guide screen but the operator has an annoying habit of forgetting.
thanks all.
