Coverage/shading with topcon

So I have some years of using Trimble and green star and turning coverage on/off with both is obvious and easy.

been using this top con a bit for a month now and still can’t work out how to switch on coverage :-(

many pointers much appreciated

I would guess its the third icon down on the right?

The button in the bottom right corner next to the autosteer engage will start recording coverage if you have a task started and an implement loaded.

Oh, that one lights up when the auto steer is not happy (like the steering wheel wants a quarter turn) so I thought that was all it did

erm. Next question will be - how do you delete it?
i do have a manual by the way but I just can’t find this stuff in it

Yes that button will be grey if everything is happy, as it is in your pic. If something is unhappy such as no implement loaded, no task started, it will be red.
When it is red, you can still press it and it will tell you what is wrong.

From memory if you press the 3rd button down on the right hand toolbar, there should be an eraser symbol. You may have to switch off coverage first using the switch you have now discovered!
Handy feature, if you drag one finger up from the bottom of the screen you will get a small menu bar appear. Press the "?". You can now press any key on the screen and its function will be explained. To exit this mode just press the "?" again.
