I think its total b**locks. How could a parasitic killer for cattle be used for a virus that kills humans via their lungs. Micotil used for pneumonia in cattle was banned because of the risk of accidental injection could cause death in humans.
It has been shown to kill the virus but ONLY in a petri dish so far. We will have to wait for more tests because a petri dish is a long way from the environment inside a human body

Years ago Blue Peter had an Xmas appeal to raise money to send Ivomectin injection to a 3rd country against river blindness. Sorry my neally 50 year old kids were young at the time so as I said years earlier.

Tough times, my wife & I are locked down in our house for a minimum of 12 weeks, classed as vunerable as I've had a kidney transplant & my wife was diagnosed with breast cancer last year.
I also know someone who has died from C19, I used to go the farm he worked on many many times over the years & he was on my FB friends list.
It's out there & it's very real.
Stay safe.
You to Gapples.

Loads of drugs/therapies are re-purposed for a variety of other uses. I've lost count of them but some are pretty exotic.

not so sure about it being total b---- suggest we check work done on dengue ( spelt it wrong in earlier posts) fever which is a virus and responds to ivermectin .More to it than we may think just have a look at work done by monash university in melbourne australia on ivermectin ,early days but too soon to write it of
