got the dreaded lerg....3 days in.....know there's a lot of variables but how long did you take to get back to work

i have flu like symptoms....worked wednesday and felt bad....gave up trying to work thursday.....just tested on off chance today and 'bang'

Two or three days feeling a bit lousy/ flu feeling and about a week for it to go past.
The tiredness lasted about 10 days+

This was covid we had 3-4 weeks ago

Just getting out the other side, had 4 days with a bad cold, and cough but could still work. Now two weeks later still have a thick head and blocked sinuses but heading the right way. Sinutab been recommended. Just took 2 asprin before bed.
Hope you shift it quick.

Covid itself wasnt too bad, the week after i felt knackered though. I thought i had it 6-8wks before i actually tested positive because i had the worse cough of my life but test kept coming back negative

Didn't feel great yesterday but tested negative.

Felt like sh!t this afternoon and did another test just now....

....looks like I'll be self isolating in a tractor.

On a serious note, I had COVID back in Feb and it buggered me right up!!! I had a headache on the day of my booster but tested negative. I had my booster at noon and felt like I was going to die by 7pm.
I got worse as the evening went on and by 10pm my whole body was trembling, I had a fever and couldn't breath, it felt like there wasn't any air in the room no matter how hard I tried to breath.

I was unable to get out of bed for 3 days and on day 4 managed to walk to the workshop (less than 50 yds) but had to sit down once there to recoupe before walking home.

It took me a week before I could do any meaningful work and even then it was a struggle and for another 3 weeks I would finish work have tea and go straight to bed.

My wife was much the same but not quite as bad but my boys had it and other than testing positive had no symptoms at all.

New variants are fairly mild , you wouldn't be on here if you had the Wuhan variant

i only tested as an after thought really.....ppl saying there's a 'summer cold' going around here......yeah .....it's a bit worse than that but not like the original thank feck

I've had 3 so that didn't make any difference.

Been asleep in a chair all afternoon and not felt great but have been out shepherding for the last couple of hours and felt a lot better in the fresh air.

you come down here for a midweek 'jolly' and nick our fekkin covid.....is nothing sacred

i was unaware and worked with it wednesday but then got banjaxxed thursday not testing til friday pm...so go steady tommoz

gonna do some light duties cos think fresh air might help
