I think you're stretching it there. What makes you think they'll be persuasion?
To give you an example...my youngest daughter who is 16 said to me the other day " the way I see it, I have two choices, pretend I've had it or have it" (she doesn't want it, aware there is no benefit to her).
Such is the coercion by school and level of peer pressure, if I could overrule her, she would have another option...say " my parents refuse"
It will be same for younger ones.

It's wrong that the school are trying to persuade her. Have you complained?

A great example to analyse the protective effects of vaccination is to compare N Ireland to ROI.

NI vaccination rates raced ahead of ROI in 2020 and first half 2021 as the UK in general raced ahead of the EU. The clear effect was NI death rate, hospitalisation rate and ICU rates, were all far superior to ROI.

Now in second half 2021 ROI, has significantly better vaccination rates than NI, due to a plateauing of vaccination in NI and a widespread acceptance rate in ROI, with an efficient supply and roll out. Hey presto, the comparative hospitalisation, death and ICU rates have directly flipped, with ROI now doing significantly better than NI.

It really isn’t difficult to understand. There are tons of stats to back up the science. Vaccination protects lives and general health outcomes. WTF, is wrong with people, who continue to deny reality.

Under 40's were not called until July .
Plenty of healthy younger people had it before then.
I know several, there were various criteria like living with a vulnerable person etc...
But also just walking by at the right time if you are keen enough.
There were several stories on this forum of people having it "early"

So BOBK demands on one hand that everyone has the covid jab to protect him and should not get any NHS treatment if they catch covid and have not had two jabs...

Yet on the other hand BOBK refuses to have the flu jab even thou he is old enough to have it and expects NHS treatment if he gets flu and needs NHS treatment...

You could not make it up if you tried..............................................

This time last year, 20 deaths a day and 2000 cases
Today 140 deaths and 30000 cases.
Isn't these inflated figures simply because the government made the political decision to infect as many of our population as quickly as possible in the hope of obtaining herd immunity contrary to almost every other countries way of doing things & are quite prepared to accept the higher death rate & long covid as a consequence.
This decision also has consequences for the rest of the world as UK travellers & foreign drivers are likely to be taking the virus with them on their travels

No peer pressure I take it

Thing that gets me is you can still catch Covid and spread it even with the jab. Children are least likely to die from it, so why vaccinate them? Schools will still be disrupted as long as they keep testing for it.
