This is why the great rush to get them done .
Tell your mother it takes 3 weeks to get cover

Well yes, on a little island like Malta, do the whole country in a day, it’s got to be good. But a program that takes weeks or months?
USA on 2.5 million per day is some 140 days.

Yes, she’s past 3 weeks, first jab. They couldn’t give a date for the second.

They're hoping to get over 65's done by end of feb , subject to vaccine availability ....

Uk, positive tests were falling dramatically, then three daily increases...
Vaccine related? Ie, folk getting careless
Probably not
There appears to be a pattern where Wednesday then Thursday then Friday record higher numbers each week - my assumption because these 3 days pick up more weekday numbers. Best to look back a week to see the relative change day by day over a 7 day period. Lower again today which seems to follow the pattern.

Yes , 23,000 positives , they said hospital admissions were falling also

Just been a professor on tv , basically saying folk aren't playing the game , doesn't take many
Been the problem all along
first lockdown 90 %
this one less

a village pub near here has lost its licence for having people in the bar
says they were mates

but the covid rules say no mixing indoors
if every one 100% stopped mixing the lock down would soon stop the spread
some places hve to mix hospital care home people in care at home
and food processing and food shops
but people need to be annul about keeping their distance 100% or the time 99% let’s it spread

vaccine by the summer should reduce the spread by more than 90% and May even result in 100 % prevention
but covid 19 has not been about long enough for proof to be found
there is a lot of evidence and evidence is increasing all the time that those with antibodies are safe and do not spread it

That's why Boris is rushing it out

boris is prepared to take on a measured risk

where as many other just do the most cautious option with out sticking their necks out

with vaccine procurement it was a no brainer. Because there was no other option
locking down can only work when people obey the rules and to obey the rules they need to see the results or be frightened enough not to break them

the gun

convincing people to lock down is much harder when the political opposition were against lockdown and the press said it would not work
