Cow down

Cow went down with milk fever before calving, had calcitrace bolus and bottle of calcium, this perked her up and had an assisted calving not tight and cleansed. Still can't stand up, can lift her with hip lifter and she walks about absolutely fine, eats and drinks but when she parks up again she can't stand without the lifter.
Any suggestions or is it down to time and patience?
Thanks Howard

Was going to try phoston in the morning. Had Metacam yesterday.
Intravenous glucose this morning and more calcium, just seems to be lacking the ooomph to get up, gets half way but not quite.

Dangerous territory I know but a question for sensible answers please .
Step back in time and we used to be able to get the CMPD bottles , why were they removed from sale , eu regs , drug licensing ? If it was eu regs , with Brexit what would it take to get these bottles back on sale ?
@bovine any veterinary reason they were removed ?

Bottle of phos is far better than foston iirc, foston doesnt have enough phos in it and is slow acting.

Give phos AND foston for a background cover. Imo.
