Cow housing lights

Has anybody played around with darkness duration etc with cow housing with robots?

We have a pretty even flow throughout the day/night but have always kept the lights on all night, finally mastered the control box and played around with the white light/red light time clocks.

has anybody seen any improvements from a period of darkness other than a electricity saving?

We have 16hrs of full light, natural/ artificial and 8 hrs night light 10pm till 6am. Never saw a real benefit.

Cubicle lighting

Has anybody recently installed or replaced lighting in cubicle buildings. If so what sort was it. There are a few companies selling lighting systems and claim increased yields. I wondered if anyone can comment on, if these claims work in practice
