Cow with calf, can I stop milking

I run a small herd of beef cattle but went a bit crazy and bought a single jersey cow with a 6 week old calf a few weeks ago. The calf is with the cow 24 hrs a day, and I’ve been getting the cow in every morning and hand milking a couple of pints of milk just for my own supply. The calf takes the rest and they both seem happy and healthy. When I go away on holiday for 10 days at the end of August should I get someone to carry on this routine (probably hard to find someone willing to do it) or will it be ok to just leave the cow and calf together and start again when I get back?

I'd think the calve will easily drink a couple of extra pints no bother

By the time you get back you might have to fight the calf for your two pints. It will be fine to leave her and start again should you wish imo.

Is the calf sucking from all four teats. If so then it will be fine.

If the cow has sores on a teat she will not let the calf suck causing mastitis
