Got dung samples of weanlings tested n November as doubted may have rumen fluke as scoury. Doubts confirmed and advised to treat with levacide diamond. All weanlings treated shortly after housing no problems alls well. Some of cows scoury also so decided to treat same last Thursday after being housed 7 weeks. Dosed cows guessin weights. All fine Friday, Saturday two cows unable to get up like as if no power n back legs. Cows lively n head eating and drinking. One of them up tis morning and a different cow unable to get up on back legs today. So have two cows un able to get up again tis eve. Is it a case of being over dosed? Will they an unborn calves be ok due to calve Feb / march? Worried. Tia.

We have big problems with Rumen Fluke in France, Zanil is used to treat this, it is an Oxyclozanide.
Levacide diamond has Levamisole Hydrochloride mixed with Oxyclozanide.
I reckon you have stop dosed to the Oxy rate for the rumen fluke and this has Overdosed them with the Levamisole.
I would be calling the Vet first thing.

And who advised the Lev. diamond? We would never treat Rumen fluke with a combined drench in France

Chap that checked samples and dose supplier agreed. After 'sir loin' reply I checked supplies an had half bottle of magniject and administered to both down animals. Probably only got 140cc each so not enough. No instant improvement so rang vet as had to go to work and getting very concerned at tis stage. He arrived prob 2hrs after call an cow that was down since saturday sprung up as soon as saw him. He administered bottle of calciject and both cows up an about since it good form so alls good. Hopefully no long term side effects.
