Put my lic heat detectors on the cows on Sunday afternoon ready for start of service on Monday. All went on really well and stuck to the cows no problem. Ive used theses heat detectors for years now so nothing new to me. 8 had no heat detector on this morning and there must be about another 20 this afternoon. Walked the field to see if they had fallen off but cant see any! Where have they gone? Could a cow be eating them!? Never had this issue and used kamars or lic type kamars for over 10 years now.

Almost certainly a heifer doing it we have had a couple either pulling out prids and one jersey who would lick off dry paint

We gave up using tail paint or stickers on our bulling heifers as it would all be gone by the next day!

It's worse than ever here everything within reach and with no shock is gum. Even the pipes in the parlour and especially the little fiddly pipes on the jars.
Checking bulling cows in the field is a nightmare and I get licked and bitten like crazy
