Cows mucking in the parlour

We had Shepton Vets man out to us as well (not our usual vets). It was more for a mastitis/SCC problem but he did a dynamic test too. Along with sorting out original problem he spotted some things and his machine picked up a few things that would upset cows and to be fair, much less sh1t!
He's from a dairy farm and the advice he gave was much more practical and cost effective than many of these 'experts' that have never done any real work in a parlour!
We'd recommend him to anyone.
I'd suggest getting cows in and out of the parlour as fast as possible and not spraying around their feet.

Milked and washed up? If so you need more cows.

Ours is pretty easy at the moment, we'll be down under 8 rows tomorrow but next year's looking like 17/18 rows and I think I'm going to split them into 2 herds which is something that I've tried to avoid.

Is that because your pushing back your calving date?
