Cows mucking in the parlour


It’s an impressive build and it wasn’t cheap that for sure.

How are you planning on doing it with your 2 herds? 3 people working in rotation to keep them all sharp? Or 1 person fetch 2 people milk

There's pretty much always a third person about in the afternoons to get the second herd in and shut the first away but mornings they'll still just be two of us a couple of bat latches moving cows.

I have pushed it back a bit, we don't start until Feb 20th but that's late enough, I'm thinking of going a week earlier with breeding this year.

I should have a 160ha grazing platform in 2019, I could just do with a few more units on the parlour.

How much fall have you got? Just keep going up to 50:100 1500 cows 4 men in the pit, get the porche ordered.
