Achieving it AYR is though which is where I thought you were coming from.
So if you start serving cows at day 17 that is your VWP, add 21 days is day 38 therefore every cow served after day 38 has missed the first 21 day period for preg rate. Is that correct?
Didn't you say your Preg rate was 54%, you need a VWP to get a preg rate?VWP is not even a thing, as said above you start serving 283 days before your planned start of calving and serve everything that comes in season, so the more cows that calve in the first 6 weeks of your allotted block the better as you have less cows sub 42 days the following year, which in turn drives conception rates higher still.
What bull/s?Pded today 6 empty out of 140 cows here today, 43 heifers will be Pded Monday, had 80% hold to 1st service (top cogent tech) had served 95% in first six weeks, really not looking forwards to calving much
6 weeks ai 3 weeks bull?Pded today 6 empty out of 140 cows here today, 43 heifers will be Pded Monday, had 80% hold to 1st service (top cogent tech) had served 95% in first six weeks, really not looking forwards to calving much
11 weeks as tb risk , but last fortnight have 2 cows6 weeks ai 3 weeks bull?
Because I have moved away from triple impact to individual bulls? Or just because.Triple impact bule for 4weeks then jack Hereford for next 2 weeks, then Hereford bulls, was talking to Lisa about you and will be interested in your figures

Poor beefy is s##t out of luck there I'm afraid!
If she's put them all in backwards there's gonna be trouble
I presume you are block calving ? Preg rate is more suited to a 12mnth rolling figure or ayr herds. We have had 3 21 day periods of 52,61 and 42% but our overall rolling is 26%.so exactly what I’ve written above, was beginning to question what I’d missed for a second.
Awesome [emoji108]Takes a bit getting your head around that something at 30% is a good result. View attachment 924937

once we start, we serve everything bulling, sub 365 days CI, there are 31 cows, lowest 281 days, that was a bit quick, and she hasn't milked to well !We don't. We start serving at day 84 and serve anything bulling. Served our last heifer to calve at 21 days on day 1 of service, just served her again! Bugger
Mine aren'tYour open cows are all of your cows. That’s how you get a preg rate.
