Like any rotary combine the intake ’elephant ‘ ears wear and twirl the straw rather than grab it and pull it in. Long tough will be worse. Take a look at the transport vanes inside the tubes if they have adjustments to speed up or slow the flow axial flow combine you could get the crop to go around more time by adjusting the angle. The vanes would wear Down and this may be your problem.

I think the ones with the intelisense systems is where they become electric adjusted.
Ive only ever altered them once and never saw any benefit so they get left in the fast position now, being a short ass i find them very difficult to alter.

If it’s wrapping around that point it’s the elephant ears are worn and new ones should help. The clearance should be minimal but dealer should know the spec. Not sure on the inside details of a new Holland but I may help to have The auger extensions removed if you are using them from the header. Keeping the feeder house sides fuller than the centre could help crop flow inside. I doubt with heavy long rye that possible but might be worth looking at the auger.
