Has anyone used crash barriers as uprights when building outside yards? Would be concreted in and prob have a concrete skirt around bottom up to 12" above floor height.

Don't think they are strong enough for uprights, plenty use them as horizontals fixed to box, strainers or sleepers. They are quite soft really.

They may well do though with the concrete round they as long as there's not too much pushing against them.

agree box beams for uprights. 4.8m long 96kg each 5mm thick 200 x 150mm. corrugates are only 3mm thick.

expect to pay £15 upwards if you can get them straight from the contractor.

Thanks for replies, just got a great heap of barriers and didn't really want to buy any more sleepers, box barriers are like rocking horse poo this way.
