It's not about paying them it's the fact they are there in the first placeWynnstay invoices - we never pay the credit charge. It's so old fashioned.
Yes, I know, it is a nuisance, always have to work out exactly what the correct price is. As I said, it is a very old fashioned way of doing things. Our vet will threaten a credit charge if not paid by the correct date, but it isn't put onto the invoice first. It's not about paying them it's the fact they are there in the first place
Is it a Welsh thing , doesn't happen oer the dykeBoth my local machinery dealers and CCF (ag merchant) do it as well as Wynnstay. They put £x can be deducted if invoice paid before end of month
Used to it now but it is a bit of an anachronism
Yes it does. And it is very annoying, and it’s also very easy to pay ‘the bottom line’ if you’re not concentrating…Is it a Welsh thing , doesn't happen oer the dyke
Wynnnstay are quite useful on pricing , nearly always beat frontier on fertEasiest thing to do is change supplier to one that doesn’t. They’ll get the message eventually.

Some contractors should do it. Was talking to one this week that has £300k outstanding all the time from bad/ slow payersI think legally they are probably not allowed to do it unless they are registered as a credit broker.
But if it means you pay your invoice quicker, then I don't blame them. Bad payers soon fudge up businesses !
