Cropping %

What % of you total growing costs (including the pre em, costs of establishment ,seed) would you attribute to getting your crop to the emergence stage in November?

What % would your costs be for the growing season (incl N, fungicides, sprayer passes)

And what % is harvesting (probably don't include drying)?

There is a reason for this odd question!

Desiccants = pre drilling glyphosate for all crops
Fungicides - not applied yet but included as the job was raised for ordering quantities of T0 fungicide
Herbicides - a few volunteer oats in the wheat hence some Topik, oil and manganese. OSR had clomazone pre em, a graminicide and Astrokerb. Fox to be applied for charlock. 2 fungicides so far. Half a litre of boron.
Drilling by Claydon & rolled. At least 1 straw rake pass.

Thanks. I'm just looking at how we front load our costs for crop establishment phase and wondering what proportion of those costs are paid out before a crop emerges as it were. Just doing a little project here

On your wheat herbicide spends is that for a pre or post em treatment and what were the chems used.

Learning not questioning :)

Nearly full rate Liberator and 0.1 DFF pre em. I can't remember what the Topik cost. But it,wasn't much and on a small % of the area.

I,should probably given more detail instead of just doing the spend to date.

To November for wheat would be glyphosate and application cost, farm saved seed and drilling cost, rolling, 4kg pellets and application cost. That’s it.

£30-£40/tonne for the entire season for all inputs and all machinery operations.
