Crops ripening unevenly.

This caught my eye earlier. Not the impressive flying display (glorious as it may be), but rather the field in the bottom right of the picture.

There appears to be a clear but natural line of demarcation, with crop in one half of the field being near to ripe whilst the other half appears weeks away from combining.

It doesn't appear man-made in any way, so the only explanation I can come up with (and I might be showing my naivety here) is an abrupt change in soil type or depth. Any thoughts?

Something is very fishy about it all.

BOAC had merged with BEA to form BA decades before that very model of Boeing 747 was made. The cockpit and 1st class longe bulge is far too long and they never had the vertical wing tips in those days.

So something is very fake about it all.

Oh for goodness sake, does nobody Google anything? British Airways have painted three 747s in their heritage liveries as part of their centenary. This flypast is a part of that.
