And who’s going to shear them in 20 years time. Very few young shears coming along, far to hard work to start out.
Probably true, sadly, when I was at collage, every one learnt/had a go at shearing, the collage turned out future shearers, virtually every one who worked on a farm clipped (in a fashion), hard work was just what you did, one of my 20ish year old neighbors was complaining about having to unload a ton of 20kg bags by hand.
