Crowds at sporting events

European championships will present issues its in 12 different countries
Haven't you heard? "footballs coming home".

I honestly believe that there will be spectators at the majority of Euro 2021 games.
But not in great numbers and not the likes of thee and me. Corporate sponsors have bunged UEFA huge amounts of money to be the official sponsors, to have their names on the billboards and too have a wad of corporate tickets. Those contracts are all wrapped into one. Fail to provide one part and UEFA fail to provide it all. So UEFA are currently pulling out the stops to ensure that corporate tickets will still be valid. Heck those those corporate tickets suddenly become of extremely high value. I'd drink Coca-Cola every day from until June if it gave me the chance of winning tickets to watch Wales play in the final of Euro 2021.

Your optimism has no bar. Wales in the final. Then again we should not forget Greece 2004 (odds before the competition 150 - 1) with as team containing Bolton and League 2 players. But they were a team.

Yeah, the Euro's have a history of throwing up interesting results. Denmark in 1992, Greece in 2004. Little ole Wales making the semi-finals in 2016. Players playing for the team goes a long way in tournament football.
You never know we might have the biggest shock on our hands this year; that England's team is actually as good as the hype from their Media!

Reading this it's like a population with Stockholm syndrome. Stopping sports ? for some folk I am sure sport is the only thing that keeps them going.
Absolutely... constantly waiting for "release" from arbitrary, counterproductive restrictions.
How about " I do not recognize the government's power to restrict me in this way"

That government has banned ordinary people playing sports has no correlation with Premier League (elite) sports playing. And you know that too.

Of course it has. The idea that Prem players are operating in a bubble is a joke. Do they wash their own kit ? Prepare their own meals ? Sleep in a hotel away from the WAG's ?
Either the prem is safe, in which case all football is safe, or the prem is putting people's lives at risk, in which case it should all stop.

Nope, you are again comparing pears with watermelon. A Premier Football team is equivalent to a small factory and they are still going and is operating without crowds. Lower leagues would want crowd.

You have yet to get permanent pasture in - but am sure you will succeed.

No team is ever as good as the hype from the English media, they were predicting the Ineos team to win the Prada Cup, quoting “one of the biggest comebacks in sporting history” Ineos lost yesterday 7-1 which is a shame really.
