Just for once in my life I might have done the right thing. Purely by chance I ordered 1000l red and 1000l kerosene last Friday, just before all the hoo ha ha.

Actually on reflection it was probably my massive order that had already sent economic shock waves through the Middle East over the weekend, and triggering a surge in prices even before anyone thought of attacking Saudi oilfields.
Have you ANY remorse for what you have done. Your actions could have far-reaching consequences by de-stabilising the markets

You weren't a headmaster in a previous life, were you? "You've let your self down, you've let the team down..." etc etc :ROFLMAO:
On a lighter note, my sister was just telling me a joke about a family of inflatable dolls, where the naughty lad is hauled in by his father to face "You've let me down, you've let your mother down, and now you've let your whole family down..." :D

Well it appears the Supermarkets also control the Pump prices. When challenged on the BBC news this morning about pump prices rising quickly but dropping slowly and why, the owner stated they waited for the competition to drop then followed suit, usually the supermarkets were first. So, if you don't have a Supermarket in the area, tough !

Don't panic, in the 80's the price of oil topped 110 dollars a barrel.......... it's currently 62.

I don't get this, around a year ago crude was about 75 dollars a barrel, anyone remember ?????????

Pretty impressive work from the drones just blasting a hole in each one of the vessels. This is the future of warfare.

A modern warship can control a lot more ocean than any WW2 vessel. You can be sure there are satellites and maritime patrol aircraft buzzing all over the shop right now.

If Iran was behind this attack god help them. The Saudis have a lot of western military technology and I wouldnt put it past Trump to hit their oil infrastructure either. He is plenty nuts enough. Probably destroy their nuclear facilities whilst he is at it.

More like the Israelis... again.

It was a lot more than that around 2008! Did it not hit $160?

We ordered a tank full this morning and it has gone up about 5p since the last time so not too terrifying. Talking about it last week but hadn't done it, typical.

And the price crashed cos no one bought any

There was also the small matter of the worldwide financial crisis, the realization that the banks were a house of cards and they were playing roulette with sh1tty mortgages on inflated house prices that no one could afford and the complete lack of available credit for about 6 Months. It jumped straight back up to 100-110 from 2009 through to 2014 until the shale industry kicked in and flooded supply.
